In short, I am a traditional Republican, the sort who likes Senator Arthur Vandenberg, President Gerald Ford, and Congressmen Paul Henry and Vern Ehlers. These men represented the best of the GOP and enjoyed broad respect. To the current leadership of the Kent County Republicans they are RINOs (Republicans in Name Only).
We have seen what happens when people like them take over Ottawa Country.
